Can greenhouse gases cool the earth?Under certain conditions,yes.Volcanoes release GHGs and while Mt. Eyjafjallajökull would have no such effect. Mt. Pinatubo in 1991 produced a cooling effect.Inspired by this scientists are pitching forward geo-engineering strategies to mimic that same effect.But is geo-engineering the solution to climate change?
